The Swedish Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Japan (SCCJ) is proud to announce an exclusive opportunity for our corporate member companies through the SCCJ x MIRAI Internship Program.

Starting in autumn 2026, this initiative will connect SCCJ corporate members with highly qualified master’s students from leading Swedish universities. The program is designed to foster meaningful collaboration between academia and industry, while strengthening ties between Sweden and Japan.

The Nordic business community brought together members from the Nordic chambers, including the DCCJ, FCCJ, ISCCJ, NCCJ, and SCCJ, under one roof to enjoy an array of craft beers and delights on May 21th at Omnipollos Tokyo. 

Attendees had the opportunity to taste ten different Nordic craft beers on tap. Each beer showcased the unique flavors and brewing techniques of the Nordic countries, offering a refreshing and innovative experience that expanded the attendees' appreciation for craft beer.

The 12th CLIC - Creative Linking of International Chambers, event held in partnership with 12 other European Chambers of Commerce in Japan, was taking place the 24th of April 2024 in the showroom of Steelcase in Tokyo.

Friday 22nd of March were another Nordic Connect event helt together with the Norwegian, Icelandic, Danish and Finish Chamber- this time hosted at the office of Össur. 

Össur is a global leader in innovative mobility solutions from Iceland who are aiming to enable a Life Without Limitations. The evening began with a session of explaining the function of their products that enables ones tho move a protes leg with their mind. This was followed by a nice networking over some good food and drinks.

The sold out annual team building bowling competition was a great success! We're happy so see many new faces as well as returning old champions. The event was held at the newly renovated Sasazuka Bowl in Tokyo 14th of March. The evening began with a warm up followed by a heated competition between 8 teams.

Yesterday, the Volvo Cars studio in Tokyo hosted our third event in the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) series, focusing on increasing the representation of women in management.
