SCCJ organized a big 30th years anniversary celebration in Kobe, Kansai on the 11 th of November with a standing reception at the beautiful venue Sorakuen. Over 100 guests joined in this celebration, and we were also honored with the presence of our HE Ambassador of Sweden Pereric Högberg as well as the Mayor of Kobe city Mr. Kizo Hisamoto.

Nordic Chambers of Commerce in Japan (Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, and Sweden) co-organized this fun gathering event to enjoy Nordic craft beer at CRAFTROCK Brewpub & Live in Nihonbashi.
There were almost 80 participants and it was a wonderful event to see you all! Hope to see you soon again at another events.
On May 31 2022, CEOs from SCCJ Corporate Member companies gathered at the Embassy of Sweden to listen and discuss with Shoei Katano, Representative Director, Höganäs Japan K.K.
This was the first time to organize a hybrid CEO round table and 18 member companies participated either at the Embassy or via online:
SCCJ organized its first physical event to kick-off 2022 at the embassy of Sweden on April 28, 2022.
Over 150 guests attended, enjoying meeting people face to face as well as various kinds of Swedish food and craft beer!

Happy 30th Birthday SCCJ!
On this day, March 18, 1992 SCCJ was registered with the Japanese ministry METI.
During the early years SCCJ had its office located inside different member companies before it finally found its current location inside the Embassy of Sweden compound.
What started with just 8 founding member companies is now approaching 100 corporate members and 40 individual members.

On June 1 the Japanese government announced that companies, universities and Chambers of Commerce could start vaccination programs for employees and students by June 21, 2021 using the Moderna vaccine.
