Invitation to the SCCJ Academy, Tokyo

Experience and learn about Sweden and Swedish business practices

The Swedish Chamber of Commerce in Japan in collaboration with the Embassy of Sweden and Business Sweden in Tokyo is again organizing the SCCJ Academy this year on May 17^th.

In previous years we have had employees from the following member companies attending: 

Atlas Copco, Atos Medical, BRIO, Cellmark Japan, Getinge Japan, Höganäs, Hokusei Products, IFS Japan K.K., IKEA Japan K.K, Mölnlyche Health Care K.K, Mycronic Technologies Japan, NGK, Sandvik, Scandinavia Corp, Scania Japan, SWEP Japan, Volvo Car Japan

The Academy is for Japanese working with Swedish related business. It is a chance to get a review and update of Sweden, from various perspectives such as Business, Society, People and Life Style point of view. Basically most of the things you need to know when doing business with a Swedish connection. Today your customers and contacts expect you and your people to know Sweden when you are working with Sweden or Swedish products and services.Presentations will be in Japanese unless otherwise noted in the program.

Participants will also have a chance to mingle with each other during the unique Swedish style buffet lunch, try the smelly surströmming fish as well as Swedish style coffee break, Fika, and a buffet networking dinner after all sessions.

We hope that this will be an event where the participants can deepen insights on the challenges and attractiveness of carrying out Swedish business in Japan.

SCCJアカデミーはスウェーデンの基本的かつ最新の情報を学べる終日プログラムとなっています。当日は経済、社会、政治、ライフスタイルなど幅広い観点からの講演が行われ、スウェーデンビジネスに関わる際に顧客や現地の取引先から求められる重要な要素をカバーしています。また、昼食ではシュールストレミング（世界一臭いとも言われる塩漬けニシンの缶詰）、Fika（スウェーデン流コーヒーブレイク）、懇親会ではスナップス（蒸留酒）、ヘイランゴー（乾杯ソング）、などのスウェーデン文化を実際にお楽しみいただけます。ビジネスを通してスウェーデンと日本の架け橋となる人々にスウェーデンへの理解を深めていただきながら、参加者同士が交流し業界の活性化につながることを目的としています。
