We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join our Tokyo team. You'll lead Accounting, Reporting, and Finance for our Japan region in Tobii Group, ensuring adherence to laws, improving efficiency, and supporting sales development and profitability.

Here’s how your normal day looks like: 
• Manage accounting and account reconciliation.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and yearly closing and reporting to Group Finance, including intra-group reconciliations.
• Handle Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Cash, and payments.
• Ensure timely tax returns, lead GAAP audits, tax audits, and responses to government authorities.
• Analyze P/L, Balance Sheet, and Cash flow.
• Coordinate Forecasts and Business Plans.
• Provide support on Finance matters, including Tax issues, to the local organization.
• Build relations and manage expectations with colleagues and auditors.
• Facilitate and support applicable input and checks during system changes.
• Manage and develop a high-performing local finance team for global cooperation and knowledge sharing.

To succeed in this position, we believe that you have:
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in accounting and closing of company books.
• University degree, preferably in Finance.
• Strong leadership skills with experience in managing and nurturing a finance team.
• Proficiency in Group Accounting practices.
• Professional background in a listed (global) company.
• Experience working with IFRS will be a good merit.
• Excellent communication skills (written & spoken) in Japanese (native speaker) and English.
