We are expanding our production team and looking for a part-time video editor to join our media brands focused on real estate, renovation, and design.

This role is ideal for someone who wants to grow and learn with a fast-expanding media and real estate company and eventually step into a larger role.

 

About us

 

We produce long-form and short-form video content for social media around Japanese real estate, renovation, architecture, and life in Japan, with a global audience.

Most of our work is in English, so strong English ability is essential.

 

The role

 

You will work closely with our core media team to support editing and occasional shooting.

 

Key responsibilities

 • Edit drafts for long-form YouTube videos and short-form content (Reels, Shorts, TikTok)

 • Assist with rough cuts, revisions, and exports

 • Occasionally join shoots when needed

 • Organize footage and project files

 • Collaborate with the lead editor and creative team

 

Requirements

 •  Portfolio

 • Bilingual or near-bilingual in English and Japanese

(Most work is conducted in English)

 • Solid experience with Adobe Premiere Pro and/or DaVinci Resolve

 • Good sense of pacing, storytelling, and social media formats

 • Reliable, organized, and able to take feedback well

 • Based in or near Tokyo

 

Nice to have

 • Experience editing social media content

 • Understanding of real estate, renovation, architecture, or design content

 • Interest in growing into a full-time editor or creative role

 

Work conditions

 • Part-time: 1 to 2 days per week • ¥2,500 per hour salary

 • Flexible schedule

  • On-site presence required at our Sangenjaya office. Occasional remote work possible.

 • Opportunity for more work as projects increase

 • Potential to grow into a full-time position as the company expands
