Uneplage International Co., Ltd.(UPI), a distributor of outdoor brands from Scandinavia and North America, opens a new store in Hokkaido on June 1.

UPI Onneto was born with the aim of communicating and preserving the charm of the region, where rich nature and culture coexist, to as many people as possible by communicating the true charm of the Onneto region through outdoor experiences.

UPI Onneto will provide a variety of services to promote the nature and culture of Onneto and its surrounding area. The facility is located by the beautiful lake, "Onneto" in Ashoro Town in Akan-Mashu National Park, next to the "Onneto National Campground".

In addition to the campground's reception desk, the facility will also serve as a base for nearby outdoor activities such as mountain climbing by providing tourist information, shower facilities, workshops, light refreshments, and outdoor equipment rentals and sales.

​「UPI オンネトー」はオンネトーおよび周辺エリアの自然や文化といった魅力を発信する施設として、様々なサービスを提供いたします。施設は阿寒摩周国立公園の西端にある足寄町の美しい湖「オンネトー」のほとりに位置し、公営の「オンネトー国設野営場」に隣接しています。野営場の受付機能の他に、観光案内、シャワー設備、ワークショップの実施や軽飲食の提供、アウトドア用品のレンタル・販売などを展開することで登山などの近隣アウトドアアクティビティの活動拠点としても機能してまいります。
